It's not always easy to find the words when you talk coloration. Fabien Giambona, colorist L 'Oréal professionnelle, informs us about the color of hair to ask for in the salon.
Although there are no rules and everyone has the freedom to test all possible and unimaginable hair colors, not all colours suit everyone. Before making your choice, it is best to visit a colorist in Paris or elsewhere to discuss it because several factors have to be taken into account.
It is necessary to take into account its natural colour, which will be the basis of the colorist and avoid large discrepancies. For example, it is not advisable to switch from a blond to a black one and vice versa, because of the risk of damaging the hair considerably.
Skin colour and tones (warm, cold) are also important in the choice of colouring. Especially when you expect a natural result!
Some hair colors enhance the color of the eyes. Thus, the green eyes will be highlighted by warm colours (golden blond, orange red, brown caramel) and the blue eyes by cold colors (pastel, butched blond, mahogany red, blue black). As for brown eyes, they are sublimated by hair of the same tone (brown, brown, honey sweep).
