On January 19 at the Palais Brongniart, Laetitia Casta closed the march of the AMI fashion show, which presented her fall/ winter 2022. Sublime in a black bustier jumpsuit embellished with feathers, the 43-year-old actress also sported a most glamorous make-up. We were able to ask a few questions to Adrien Pinault, make-up artist who took care of sublimating it for the occasion. Take notes !

Here: What was the inspiration for Laetitia Casta's makeup? Adrien Pinault: (For the AMI fashion show) we really wanted to highlight the personalities of the different models present. That's why each make-up was different, even if there was of course a red thread (the mouth and the eyes, which are more or less strong depending on the girls). Laetitia wore a beautiful black outfit, I was able to do a glamorous makeup because her face lends itself perfectly.

It is often said that between the eyes and the mouth, you have to choose. During the AMI parade, Laetitia Casta sported a tinted mouth and very glamorous eye makeup. What's the secret to doing both makeup without looking like you're "overdoing it"? I think it all depends on the face you are making up. But I would say that if you decide to do both, the makeup should only be used to highlight the eyes. Hence the use of a fairly neutral colored shadow on Laetitia.

What products did you use to do her makeup? To do Laetitia Casta's makeup, I applied Reboot foundation, Ultra HD concealer and Ultra HD finishing powder from Make Up For Ever. For the eyes, I used the Aqua Resist Brow Definer eyebrow pencil in medium brown shade, the Aqua resist smoky shadow multi-purpose stick in cinder shade and on the lash line, the Aqua Resist Color Pencil in ebony shade in order to emphasize the gaze (of Laetitia Casta). Finally for the mouth, I used Rouge Artist lipstick in shade 402 (Untamed Fire) and Aqua Lip waterproof lip liner number 8C. Finally, I added a bit of Mixing Gloss to add shine.

A final make-up tip? When making up both the eyes and the mouth, to obtain a fresher and more modern result, do not use too much powder. You have to leave the natural shine!
