One hundred and three women suffering from fistulas, genitals and other gynecological diseases of the Kasongo health zone, in the province of Maniema, have just benefited from the free repair of these pathologies on the part of the Africa hospital with its partner,The Fund of the Republic on funding for the World Bank.
It is within the framework of the rapid project based on gender -based violence (PRVBG), that this second mobile clinic of free distribution took place in favor of these women for twenty days.
“We come from the Kasongo health zone where we have encountered several women with many gynecological problems, including fistulas, genital prolapse and many other complications related to childbirth.We have managed to treat, to operate 103 patients who have benefited from our free care.After closing the mission, we had made a waiting list of women who did not benefit from this care and who had really come from far away, "said Pascal Habamungu, coordinator of the Mobile Clinic.
