The airline British Airways has relaunched its flights between London and Singapore, following the easing of health measures linked to the Covid-19 pandemic between the two countries.
Suspended since December, the connection of the British national company between its base at London-Heathrow and Singapore-Changi airport has been offered again since the beginning of June 2021, with four weekly rotations now operated in a four-class Boeing 777-300ER. Departures are scheduled for Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday at 7:55 p.m. arriving the next day at 4:05 p.m., with return flights leaving Southeast Asia on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday at 11:15 p.m. to land the next day at 5:50 a.m.
British Airways is in competition on this axis with Singapore Airlines and Qantas (excluding the health crisis).
Noella Ferns, sales manager for the Asia-Pacific region of the alliance company Oneworld, told TTRWeekly: “We are delighted to be able to reunite families and friends with their loved ones after such a long separation. The safety of our customers and colleagues has always been at the heart of everything we do. We have also introduced a series of precautionary measures to ensure stress-free and hassle-free travel.”
