On social networks, astrologers and same -mem machines on the theme of astrology amasse follows by thousands of thousands. The signs are literally classified according to really random and hilarious things: by cat/dog races, Oscar Wilde quotes, Stranger Things characters, types of fries etc ...
Humans have turned to the stars to guide themselves since time immemorial. In fact, astrology has existed for thousands of years.Although it is no longer considered the learned tradition of centuries ago, many people continue to study the influence of celestial bodies on human activity. The general interest in astrology has continued to grow in recent decades, launching the foundations for its apparently sudden popularity today.
With the growing audience linked to astrology, especially on Marie France, scientists sought to prove its veracity, often by affirming that the stars had no means of influencing human behavior. For them, this is a total deception, reports the Canadian site the press.
Nevertheless, astrology has millions of followers, especially in recent years.According to researchers, this could be linked to reactions responding to event stress like the COVVI-19 pandemic.

Some researchers have been further by wanting to know the personality of people interested in astrology. This is the case of Ida Andersson and her team from the University of Lund, in Sweden.Psychologists have passed a personality test to 264 anonymous people, from 25 to 34 years old, 87% of which are women.
The questionnaire created by the researcher team aimed to identify the personality traits of astrology fans.Scientists also relied on the evaluation of the inventory of beliefs in astrology, led by researchers from the Rovira I Virgili University in 2006.Finally, a Qi test was carried out on almost 300 Facebook users to then answer the questionnaire.
The researchers then discovered that people who had a strong interest in astrology, obtained scores which indicated high narcissism rates most of them also had bad results in the Qi test.Scientists have therefore concluded that people with this kind of belief are completely imbued with themselves and less intelligent than the average.
In order to conduct this study, the Ida Andersson team has also studied the application in the world. It is "Co-Star", a platform where the most enthusiastic of astrology find all the information to know: from the astral chart to daily advice according to the astrological sign, the application is complete and has also beenDownloaded more than 20 million times. The researcher also said "It is therefore possible that she attracts people with more narcissistic features, who need to feel special and important (" say more about me ") and that she strengthens this needby constantly encouraging them to think of themselves.»»
Admittedly, the results of this test are particularly virulent for astrology followers, but they still remain to be considered with caution.Ida Andersson also emphasizes "we do not pretend that all people practicing astrology are more narcissistic (or have a lower IQ), because we can only speak of our sample ... We should conduct other research, withlarger and more diverse samples.»»»
