Throughout lunch, you thought you could do without a towel around your neck. Until the fateful moment: the tomato sauce accidentally spreads on your white blouse. Fortunately, there are many tips for getting rid of stains on clothes. Here are some to adopt before going into the washing machine.
The SOS gesture: Pour a few drops of ammonia into a bowl of lukewarm water. Dab the mixture on the tomato sauce stain with a cloth and then rinse with clear water.
The SOS gesture: Pour a little flour or cornstarch on the stain to absorb the liquid. Once dry, remove the flour and gently dab the rest of the stain with a cloth soaked in water and Marseille soap.
The SOS gesture: Dilute an egg yolk in a small bowl of lukewarm water then dab the mixture on the stain with using a clean cloth. Let it dry and rinse by patting what remains of the stain with another cloth soaked in hot water.
The SOS gesture: Spray a little hairspray on the stain then wipe immediately with a clean cloth before rinsing with clear water.
The SOS gesture: Pour a little bit of baking soda into the bottom of a cup then cover with vinegar. Apply the mixture to the stain, rub gently then rinse. It also gets rid of the smell of perspiration. Also discover our tips for removing traces of deodorant from clothing.
The SOS gesture: Place an ice cube on the blood stain to dilute it. Then wash with black soap and rinse.
The SOS gesture: With your finger, place a little white toothpaste on the stain before gently rubbing and rinsing.
The SOS gesture: Gently dab the lipstick stain with a cloth soaked in alcohol at 70° then rub with slightly moistened Marseille soap. Leave on for a few minutes then rinse.
The SOS gesture: Pour a few drops of milk on the grass stain then rub lightly before rinsing.
The SOS gesture: Cover the stain with baking soda then dab with a cloth dampened with lemon juice. Rinse.
